We are excited to say a warm and heartfelt welcome to Iva Doychinova in her role as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation. She is an invaluable like-minded person who recognizes the causes and topics we have been working on in recent years. She is a true civic activist and partner in the defense of civic initiatives and values, and we are glad that we will continue to work together side by side!

Iva is a journalist and an activist. Her professional career in radio journalism began in the Horizont program of the Bulgarian National Radio. She was subsequently invited by the creators of the first private Radio FM+ to join the team. For 14 years there she was the host of the shows "Streetcar desire", "Iva and John" and "Breakfast with Iva".

From 2000 to 2006 Iva Doychinova was Program manager of the five main teams of the private media: Sofia, Burgas, Varna, Blagoevgrad, and Stara Zagora.

Iva joinеd the morning team of BNT "The Day Begins", where she led topics related to education, ecology, health, and the cultural part of the block. From 2007 to 2011, he was part of the bTV team as host of the shows "Mom's Hour" and "It's a Wonderful Day."

Doychinova is the founder of the "Awakening of the Year" campaign. She is UNICEF's ambassador in the "One Pack, One Vaccine" campaign dedicated to fighting tetanus in the world's poorest countries. She has always supported a number of events and initiatives of BCNL, including the competition for socially engaged art CIVIC ALARM CLOCK in her role as host.

We take this opportunity to thank Mr. Luben Panov, who gives way to Iva. With our hard work over the years, we have been able to contribute and develop civil organizations so that a more free and prosperous civil society exists in Bulgaria.  We want to express our gratitude and recognition to Mr. Panov as he’s one of the most important people involved in the creation and construction of the organization, for his dedication to our mission and for the support of the team. Lyuben Panov will always be an integral part of Bulgarian center for not-for-profit law!
